Welcoming Services

Episcopal Migration Ministries' affiliate partners provide refugees with the information and services they require to thrive in their new communities within just months after arriving.

Affiliates provide refugees with the items and the services they’ll need during their first 30 days in the U.S., including housing, food, furnishings, and orientation to life in their new communities. Our partners also connect newcomers to services like English classes and job training, while helping them access health care, enroll their children in school and understand the other services available in the community.

These services and others are supported by grants from the U.S. Department of State and the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and the contributions of volunteers, churches, donors and other supporters make our ministry a true community effort.
