Each new year brings new possibilities and opportunities. It also brings its shares of challenges. One of the challenges facing our nation today is settling refugees and welcoming them into our communities. Episcopal Migration Ministries has a long-standing commitment to and program of supporting our neighbor – particularly our new neighbor.

Join leaders from EMM to hear about their current initiatives and ongoing and new opportunities for your congregation to partner in the ministry of refugee resettlement and welcome. The panel will be joined by a client helped by EMM’s work in a local community. Join us to be uplifted and understand how your community can help in this moment of need.

Panelists include:

  • Allison Duvall – Senior Manager for Church Relations & Engagement, Episcopal Migration Ministries (Moderator)
  • Işıl Nart-Alexander – Program Officer, Resettlement Post-Arrival & Community Sponsorship Lead, Episcopal Migration Ministries
