Amanda Payne

Amanda Payne served as the youth minister at St. James Episcopal Church in the Diocese of Dallas, where the majority of her youth group came from refugee backgrounds. She has served in youth ministry for over 12 years. She studied Russian and South African History at Texas A&M and is currently studying at Nashotah House Theological Seminary for her Masters of Divinity.  Amanda has specialized experience and training with high-risk teens, suicide intervention, domestic minor sex trafficking, and rape survivors. She attended EMM’s pilot Love God, Love Neighbor training and has expanded her ministry to include teaching and advocacy for refugees and refugee resettlement.
